David Mark floors Onjeh in Benue South rerun

 

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and a former President of the Senate, David Mark, has won the rerun election for Benie South Senatorial District.

Mark floored Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress.

According to the Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission for the election, Prof. Ishaq Shaibu Eneji, Mark scored 84,192 votes to defeat Onjeh who polled 71,621 votes.

The result was announced on Sunday morning.
