Buhari Approves Sack Of Maritime Agencies Heads

In what appears like a move to cleanse and reposition the maritime sector, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the sack of heads of maritime parastatals in the country.

 except for the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Dakuku Peterside that was recently appointed, all other heads of agencies will be sacked anytime from now.

The agency heads affected are Executive Secretary, Nigeria Shippers’ Council (NSC) Hassan Bello; Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Habib Abdulahi; acting MD, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Barr. Danladi Ibrahim and the Ag Rector Maritime Academy of Nigeria (MAN), Oron, Anthony Isiodu.
