We have watched with dismay, the sheer display of impudence by the above mentioned persons towards the person of Chief Timipre Sylva, and feel the actions of these men spells outright mischief .
There's no justification for the brazen malice these lots have displayed, and as concerned members and Stakeholders of the Bayelsa state APC, we cannot continue to be spectators while these dance of shame continues to bring our party to disrepute at this critical moment.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri lampooned the trio for their unsavoury display of insatiable greed and misguidedness.
The group calls on all party faithfuls to remain steadfast and align themselves with the leader of the party in the state, Chief Timipre Sylva. Saying the fifth columnists parading themselves as party executives should be asked why they chose a time such as this. Why now, when the party is making effort to regain its stolen mandate through the court? We're not too surprised as this only underscores the suspicions the public had about Tiwei earlier.
No one should be deceived into believing that this show of shame, is in the overall interest of the party. The embattled chairman has not hidden his desire to head the local content board. A position reserved for someone with an active participation in the oil and gas industry for at least 15 years, does he (Tiwei) possess the requisite education and knowledge of that industry's operation?
The group asked the embattled trio to desist from making a ridicule of the party in the state, as their personal interest does not supercede the overall interest of the party faithfuls and the state in general.
