The group, which is comprised of youths and the aged from the four wards that make up Brass Constituency III, was formed to pursue the interest of Akassa Kingdom, it was learnt.
"The 100-Man Coalition seeks to introduce a new political culture in Akassa kingdom that will consequently impel those in authority to be more proactive and responsive," hinted Raynus Ebiegberi, National Coordinator of the coalition, while speaking at the event.
"Our believe is that the only way to attract development to our beloved Akassa kingdom is to preach unity, change the way we play our politics, and also, to strategically partner with people from sister communities cum kingdoms in order to attract good things to Akassa," the coordinator added.
While speaking, Comr. Timi Koru disclosed that the coalition consists of six national executives and four ward coordinators who have come together to fight for the sociopolitical development of the Akassa kingdom.
In his speech, Highness Fakumo Sunday- Agabi, the Deputy Amadabo of Kongho Community, who was represented by Berepelenyo Okolai, lauded the founder of the group, while urging members to uphold the tenets and ideals upon which the group was formed.
In a paper presentation entitled "Advice for 100 Youths" Chief B. O. Ereku charged members to think of what they can do for Akassa kingdom and not just what they will receive.
Meanwhile, the group also conferred on the lawmaker representing Brass Constituency I in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli, the positon of the Grand Patron.
The lawmaker, who was represented by his Media Assistant, Sam Dogitimi, thanked the group for deeming it fit to confer such enviable position on him, assuring that, he will always give them the enabling support to actualize their aims and objectives.
